Role Summary
The Operational Excellence function is currently a team of 7 (and growing) across APAC – Singapore, India, and Manila. The Operational Excellence function in APAC supports both new client implementations and existing accounts and is also responsible for ensuring best practices approaches of work are embedded along with governance, and continuous improvement plans are in place.
The Operational Excellence Consultant will be working on both new client implementations and existing accounts. The main objective of this role is to be able to drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to the different account teams. The consultant will collaborate closely with Operational Excellence Team Lead and Operational Leads and/ or other project workstreams to help refine the strategic plans/ processes in place to ensure that we are providing unmatched quality services to our clients in APAC. You will also be given the opportunity to help create training materials for the training workstream in a project and support with training delivery where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Build effective working partnerships with internal stakeholders
- Participate in Discovery sessions with clients to understand current recruitment practices and conduct a GAP analysis to be able to strategically identify opportunities for strategic enhancements and address complex queries to improve processes
- Develop process efficiencies and provide support in implementing continuous improvement initiatives across all new and existing accounts in APAC
- Design and develop reference materials – desk guides, quick reference guides, and training collateral where required
- Participate in driving, monitoring, and designing innovative solutions from implementation to BAU

- Mentor account leaders and act as a formal trainer on occasion in operational improvements
- Conduct “Post Go Live Reviews” with both client and onsite stakeholders to ensure compliance and process alignment then propose process efficiencies where applicable
- Drive continuous improvements within existing accounts by undertaking regular review of the processes ensuring that ops manuals and other process documentation are updated
- Collaborate with the different workstreams and operations leaders to drive and constantly review recruitment processes across all clients in APAC to maximize our capability and ensure consistency of quality service delivery
- Ad hoc projects as required
Skills and Experience Required
- Has 3- 5 years’ experience in the recruitment industry; RPO setting is preferred
- Knowledge/ experience in creating reference materials/ training collateral
- Proven ability to work and collaborate with stakeholders – client and internal
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to discuss strategy, business cases and ROI etc.
- Projects experience and/or implementation experience (in some capacity) preferred
- Comfortable working independently and able to perform effectively with limited detail while pursuing a specific business objective
Other Information
- Working Hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm (flexibility required)
- Other duties that are reasonably within the capabilities of a staff member in this position may need to be performed from time to time, in addition to or instead of the above duties.
