Position Summary: To lead and manage the South East Asia Talent Acquisition team to align and support the growth of our South East Asia (SEA) region, comprising of 8 offices across 6 countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines). This position reports into the Human Resources Director (South East Asia & Greater China) who is based in Singapore and you’re part of the wider SEA Human Resources team working alongside Learning & Development and HR Operations. The successful candidate will ideally possess a minimum of 7-10 years of recruitment experience (internal or external recruitment) with 2-3 years managing a team. This role would suit someone who is agile, organized and with a flair on stakeholder management. Someone with a keen sales flair, strong interpersonal and influencing skills, an ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment and experience in handling high-volume recruitment will thrive in this position. You will lead the Talent Acquisition team to support the SEA Leadership and their management teams by developing robust attraction strategies to source potential recruitment consultants (PRCs) to be considered for a recruiter role in all offices in SEA. From time to time, you will also assist in hiring for Business Partner function roles within the Group. It’s people who make the Robert Walters experience so special. Responsibilities

  • Providing consultative recruitment advice
  • Engage with the wider Global Talent Acquisition team and HR to ensure candidate sourcing, talent acquisition tools and employer branding initiatives are kept up to date and in sync with the market
  • Working with management teams across Robert Walters South East Asia offices to discuss new potential growth areas and vacancies and to agree on resourcing strategy
  • Advising on market trends and skills and offering consultative advice and market intel on competitor information
  • Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance
  • Working with the marketing team to build on current marketing initiatives and be involved with new marketing ideas for PRC (potential recruitment consultant) attraction
  • Researching new and innovative attraction tools to aid PRC attraction and selection
  • Presenting regular business updates on hiring activity with Regional CEO and Leadership teams
  • Providing strategic partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments including attending management meetings
  • Managing external relationships with vendors as and when required
  • Using Robert Walters database system to update and track potential candidates
  • Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline implementing best practices across the talent acquisition team to ensure accurate data can be reported back to the business
  • Headhunting PRCs from competitors through proactive approaches as well as keeping an eye on movements in the market
  • Screening of CVs in line with line managers’ requirements, meeting with suitable candidates for initial screening and face to face interview and recording of all direct recruitment activity on the ATS (Profile)
  • Working closely with the Human Resources Department to ensure efficiency of the new starter/onboarding process
  • Monitoring and updating external job boards, RW Careers, Workplace by Facebook with all current live vacancies
  • Promote and organize events in relation to working with Robert Walters
  • Be comfortable managing and reacting efficiently to volume recruitment
  • Managing internal moves locally or internationally
  • Bi-annual performance reviews with the TA team, including objective setting and quarterly bonus allocations
  • General team management (weekly update meetings, holiday, sickness, discipline)
  • Individual staff development, including training
  • Ensuring 100% data integrity by team

About you

  • 7 – 10 years of relevant & progressive experience in recruitment with 2-3 years managing a team
  • Superior business acumen, outcome driven, resourceful and proactive
  • A demonstrable track record of personal delivery and headhunting
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to address complex issues
  • Proven track record of influencing and navigating organizational boundaries and building strong partnerships with all levels of stakeholders to produce results
  • A personal brand of leadership that speaks to inspirational qualities of driving for excellence, always finding a win/win solution, being an active listener and engaging communicator
  • A track record of building organizational capability and expertise through selecting and developing high performing team members

The requirements of this role may change over time and staff is required to comply with all such reasonable changes.
