What you’ll be doing
This role is to lead and motivate a large multi-functional team, based either onsite with the client or offsite in RS GSC, to deliver operational excellence and drive outstanding recruitment outcomes. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to form strategic partnerships to understand their objectives and drive a recruitment strategy that supports their business goals. In addition, you will oversee the areas that support the recruitment process including coordination and internal mobility.
- Achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness throughout the recruitment process.
- Provide superior service and develop strong relationships with other offsite and onsite teams, head office colleagues and the Centre of Excellence team.
- Actively contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives to improve recruitment outcomes for the client.
- Manage team effectively, encouraging focus on delivery and results.
- Exceed SLA performance across sites and ensure process improvement introduced where necessary.
- Act as the go-to person to drive culture, performance and new initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Management of all day to day activity for the recruitment of temporary and permanent staff.
- Advising on recruitment strategy and sourcing techniques for a broad range of roles.
- Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance.
- Various in-depth reporting – i.e. financial, headcount, HR.
- Managing escalation of HR/recruitment issues and escalate to Account Director where appropriate.
- Ensuring full compliance with the Service Level Agreement.
- Design appropriate strategy for specific recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure the client is represented to an exceptional level in the external market and working with Resourcing. Partners to ensure they are up to date on the current market trends and can position themselves as true talent advisors.
- Work with Resource Solutions’ Centre of Excellence teams to resolve complex talent acquisition challenges through innovative solutions.
- Work closely with the Team Leads to ensure that upcoming requirements can be met within budget and timescales.
- Creating, reviewing and updating recruitment processes to ensure best practice, internal policy compliance and external legislative compliance.
- Providing strategic partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring they are kept abreast of all recruitment developments.
- Feed into Quarterly Business Reviews for their specific Business area.
Team Management
- Bi-annual performance reviews, including objective setting and bonus allocations.
- General team management (weekly update meetings, holiday, sickness, discipline)
- Individual staff development, including cross skill training.
- Ensuring 100% data integrity by team.
- Ensure KPIs are set and delivered in line with RS objectives.
- Assume responsibility across sites - cover when needed.
Key Deliverables
- Define sourcing strategies for building talent pool and fulfilling hiring demand as per client business priorities.
- Effectively manage the SLAs/targets.
- Own and manage candidate relationships from interview to onboarding.
- Continuous improvement initiatives.
Financials
- Commercially focused and leveraging all available sourcing channels to deliver effective ROI on investment.
- Monthly review and account for changes and peaks and troughs in revenue.
- Forecast analysis in line with 6 monthly period.
- Creation of a business plan in line with Resource Solutions’ objectives.
- Ensure a full understanding of the contract and potential updates needed to align profitability.
Value Add
- Keep abreast of market information and ensure quarterly updates are shared with sites.
- One piece of value add to be implemented on a monthly basis.
- Ensure staff participation of the management of the mentor scheme across Resource Solutions.
