As a client relationship manager in the banking sector, a career in recruitment is something I never considered. But once I learned more about it, I felt like it was something I should have been doing all along. In a lot of ways, the role is similar to my previous job: talking to clients to understand their needs and finding a solution that suits them best.

When I joined as a consultant in 2018, I had the support of my senior colleagues who helped me learn all about recruitment and I quickly started to develop my own client portfolio. Being a managing consultant today, I’m proud to see how building these long-term client relationships has paid off, as they now contact me directly to help them with their recruitment needs.
