The Robert Walters Group is pleased to announce the inclusion of three of its European businesses in Great Place to Work®’s 2018 list of Best Workplaces™.

Robert Walters in the UK and France feature on this year’s list. While in the Netherlands, Robert Walters and Walters People have been recognised as Best Workplaces™.

The ranking is compiled based on empirical research carried out by Great Place to Work®. Each year, only the highest-scoring organisations are honoured as Best Workplaces™.

Great Place to Work® surveys the level of trust, pride and fun within organisations. Only organisations that achieve a high score on both the employee survey and employers' policy are awarded the title, Best Workplace.

Robert Walters and Walters People Netherlands has risen by three positions to secure 14th place in the Great Place to Work® 2018 ranking. This achievement reflects a number of changes to both policy and office facilities that have been implemented over the past year to enhance employee satisfaction. Our offices in Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam each received a makeover, with the addition of quiet work spaces, relaxation zones and new game areas.

In addition, new initiatives such as office-facilitated Friday afternoon drinks, sports lessons and daily provision of organic breakfast and lunches have offered greater opportunities for staff to engage with their colleagues. While the introduction of flexible work hours and the option to work from home have also helped our Netherlands business to achieve the title of Best Workplace.

Our Robert Walters France business has been named a Great Place to Work® for the fourth time in the category of companies with 50 to 500 employees. This follows continued collaboration between our French senior management team and HR department to enhance our employees’ careers with professional development training, internal mobility and promotion programmes and remuneration.

Robert Walters UK has also received the accolade of Best Workplace™ for the first time in 2018. Using employee feedback from the survey, our UK business has implemented a number of positive changes to provide a fulfilling work environment for our staff, including the implementation of new technology to enable flexible working and new break out areas to encourage greater collaboration.

Steve Coxall, Marketing Director - EMEA & Americas, commented:

“We are proud that three of our European businesses have been recognised as Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work®.
