The Robert Walters Group is proud to have raised a total of £116,430 worldwide during its tenth annual Global Charity Day celebrations on 8 October.

As in previous years, the collected funds will go towards supporting charities and organisations making a difference in the communities where we live and work, having been selected by employees in those locations.

Some of the charities our people supported this year included Save the Children (Australia), Down Syndrome Foundation (Taiwan), Institut Gustave Roussy (France), Mind (UK) and many more.

Each year, employees from Robert Walters, Walters People and Resource Solutions put their creativity to the test, coming up with fun and inventive ways to fundraise or volunteer on Global Charity Day. In 2021, we saw our teams volunteer at animal shelters and food pantries; they danced at silent discos, baked cakes and staged tennis tournaments; one team even scaled an active volcano!

Stephen Edwards, Chief Marketing Officer for the Group, commented:

“Each year, we’re inspired by the passion and commitment our people show in celebrating Global Charity Day, and 2021 was no different. As the global pandemic continues to impact charities around the world, we’re proud to be able to support them and the vital contributions they make to our local communities. We thank all our teams for their hard work in helping us make a difference, especially in these challenging times.”
