Following our inclusion as a finalist in August, the Robert Walters Group is proud to announce today that we have been named as 'Highly Commended' in the Reuters Events: Responsible Business Awards 2021 in our category of 'Product or Service Innovation’.

We were honoured to be shortlisted alongside such prestigious organisations in our category as Walgreens, Moody's and Dow.

The Group's submission focused on the industry-leading inclusivity audit, launched by our recruitment process outsourcing arm Resource Solutions, and designed by our in-house innovation team. Based on a research-led methodology, the auditing service applies a bias minimisation framework drawn from over 60 peer-reviewed academic papers and studies. It also assesses more than 150 touchpoints of an organisation's hiring and recruitment process to identify which aspects are perpetuating bias through the lenses of gender, ethnicity, disability and neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, age, faith and socio-economic factors.

In addition to identifying existing practices and biases, clients are also provided with a list of actionable recommendations to drive meaningful change within their recruitment process, and to help them achieve their diversity objectives.

Stephen Edwards, Chief Marketing Officer for the Group, commented:

"Connecting clients with our global network of diverse talent is one of the ways that we deliver on our purpose to power people and organisations to fulfil their unique potential. We are proud to have been recognised by the Reuters Events: Responsible Business Awards, and look forward to expanding and building on our ED&I capabilities to add value and deliver real, meaningful change for our clients and candidates around the world."
