Robert Walters Group wins at the Corporate Engagement Awards 2022

Robert Walters Group has won the ‘Gold’ title for the ‘Best arts and culture programme’ and ‘Silver’ title for the ‘Best collaboration for a single event’ categories at the Corporate Engagement Awards 2022 for its UK New Artist of the Year Award programme.

The Corporate Engagement Awards honour CSR programmes, corporate sponsorships and the communication strategies around those collaborations. It has grown to be the benchmark for collaborations that have excelled and pushed the boundaries. The awards recognise companies that successfully engage their partners, support charities and work for communities in which they operate.  

The Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award helps to discover and champion the work of exceptional young artists whose work and vision represent contemporary Britain. Run in collaboration with UK New Artists and Saatchi Gallery, the award provides a platform for new artists to showcase their work at Saatchi Gallery and provides a £10,000 cash prize to first place, and £5,000 for those in second place.

After running for three years, the Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award has seen impressive growth, exceeding expectations in 2021 with award entries growing by 92% compared to the first year. After a difficult few years for the arts and culture sector, the award programme has managed to evolve over the pandemic and emerge stronger than ever. Judges praised the "impressive reach and amazing development during Covid and beyond”.

The Corporate Engagement Awards ‘Best arts and culture programme’ category, for which Robert Walters Group has been awarded a ‘Gold’ title, recognises excellent partnerships, sponsorships or CSR programmes that either exist within or are engaged with the arts. It also acknowledges clearly defined objectives, a strategy grounded in arts and culture along with elements of creativity and innovation.

The Corporate Engagement Awards ‘Best collaboration for a single event’ category, for which Robert Walters Group has been awarded a ‘Silver’ title, recognises organisations that best represent their values, objectives and strategies through partnership for a single event. Judges looked for those companies demonstrating the most effective partnership or programme around CSR with clear results of how the events was of benefit to all involved.

The Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award 2022 finalist exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery is taking place on 10 November with finalists being announced on 3 October.
